About Our Research
Our research group investigates how chemistry students develop competency with the concepts and practices that they will continue to use after they leave chemistry classrooms.
We consider questions like:
1. How do students' understanding of light-matter interactions develop over time?
2. How do learners rely on and incorporate empirical evidence into their arguments and explanations?
3. How do students resolve epistemic uncertainty individually and as a group?
